What was remarkable to me is in some of the comments on his post, it was obvious a couple of them thought he wrote this in complete seriousness.
And, even more remarkable was that my agent, Chip MacGregor sent it to me... and Chip's the poster boy for the Christian agency! What some people don't know is that Chip's just a regular guy. A really cool guy!
Wow. I've told people the same thing, but not nearly as well. His sarcasm aside, it is scary that any attention whore, especially visible ones, can get books published. Then again, I'm sure they have ghost writers. I can't imagine some "celebrities" can stop bathing in Cristal and buying diamond studded gimp masks long enough to write a grocery list much less a book.
Yes, that was really funny, but there was a lot of truth in there, too. Honestly, I can just imagine how an agent must feel by the time they get to email 451 - no wonder it's so hard to get their attention!
This made my evening. Some of it was so true despite the hilarious sarcasm. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good laugh on a day I needed one.
ReplyDeleteSo true, so true.
Thanks.

ReplyDeleteRight on, Tiffany! He nailed it, didn't he!
ReplyDeletePerfect and, sadly, so true! You were right - it was hilarious. :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. T.M.'s comment is priceless!
