Joe Lansdale on the Sundance channel with Hap and Leonard.

Hi folks,

Joe Lansdale just sent me this link with a preview of the upcoming Sundance channel series based on his characters Hap and Leonard. Looks like an absolute winner! And, barring unforseen circumstances, Joe's planning on attending this year's WRW in May in San Antonio and I can't wait!

Check it out at https://www.yahoo.com/tv/hap-and-leonard-a-behind-the-scenes-preview-of-152547816.html

Blue skies,
Les

Even The Beloved Spouse is jazzed about this. Just hollered up the stairs, "Hey, Dana! Omar comin'."

Looking forward to this one. Something has to fill the JUSTIFIED-sized hole in my life, and this just might be it.

This is my first time i visit here. I found so many entertaining stuff in your blog, especially its discussion. From the tons of comments on your articles, I guess I am not the only one having all the leisure here! Keep up the good work. I have been meaning to write something like this on my website and you have given me an idea.

Watched the first two episodes online a couple of nights ago. Diggin' it! Great casting, cinematography, and (so far) writing. Sure, the writers changed the storyline somewhat, but it's well-executed and should make for a solid tale in its own right. Will continue to watch. My wife, who has never read the novels, also gave it a thumbs-up.

Another great collaboration between Joe Lansdale and Jim Mickle. I really hope these networks continue to produce great dramas to counterbalance the tons of dreck out there. It's encouraging to say the least.

Thanks, Shaun, for a great take on the show. Hey, be sure and give me a call when you swing through Fort Hooterville and let's go down a few brews.
